Redeem Pettaway is a transcontinental artist, filmmaker, and writer residing between Tokyo, Japan, and Atlanta, Georgia. Her work examines subject matter such as digital anonymity and performance, identity, textiles and apparel, and the materiality of time . Redeem's work has been showcased in Paper Magazine, MoMA PS1, Contemporary Art Daily, and archived in the New Museum's Rhizome digital collection. She is the most recent addition to the Nuvola art collective, based in Tokyo.
